So this week in art class we chose a culture that we wanted to do a painting with. I chose to shadow Katsushika Hokusai. My inspiration was his Wave painting, then I changed the color scheme from blues to reds. I love mixing colors and such and so I had a lot of fun with this assignment!

I can't even handle how amazing you are at painting. It's never been my strong suit because I find it very unforgiving if you make any mistakes, but this is... Incredible! I love how you took Hokusai's painting and changed the colors and made it your own.
